Sketches from the Aquarium

Quick sketches done at the aquarium a few weeks ago. Fun times with animation friends and aquatic creatures!

Soccer Sketches

Drawing my friend at his soccer game! :) They kept asking me to play and I was like “OH NO, no…. no thanks” Me + sports = ball in face

More character designs and colors

A temporary lineup of characters (they are not all completed designs yet), and some colored bugle designs.

Some poses of Bolek.

More designs of other characters. I posted some of these previously.

Also, I have a title for my project! A Polish phrase, Mały trębacz, which translates to The Little Trumpeteer.

Life Drawing Final

Some pages from my Figures class final. We had to put together a portfolio of the different projects from the semester. I had a great time in the class, especially cause we drew so much! The longest pose we had was 10 minutes, but we normally had 2 or 5 minute gestures. I need to find another life drawing outlet for the summer!

Taking a Walk

Finally decided on a name for my character! Bolek, short for Boleslaw, a Polish name meaning "great glory." Also my father's middle name! Here he is in a walking pose, drawn for the poster advertising our end of the year animation screening on Friday the 20th. Super excited!

Color Ideas

Color Palettes for my eventual color script, and a rough layout with some color splashed on it. Colors are organized by the mood changes within the film.

Character Development

Current design for my main character, whose name as of now is Bolus, but everything is subject to change!

Development and color ideas for two secondary characters, the Old Man and the Goat Herder, along with one of his goats, Billy. Not set in stone yet, either!
